I will attend your site at a mutually convenient time which must be in daylight, when I will make an assessment of mole activity. With your agreement, I will set as many traps as I consider may be necessary and these traps will be checked by me at least once every 24hrs. The trap location(s) will be clearly marked. Bear in mind that the traps are small but strong and will easily injure small fingers and curious snouts! Please ensure that children, pets & other animals are kept away from the traps.
When a mole is captured I will remove and dispose of it. You are welcome to witness the mole''s removal, but you should be aware that this may not be a pleasant sight. I use ?instant kill? traps, but there is the very rare occasion when the animal isn''t properly caught and isn''t dead. In these instances I will dispatch the mole as quickly and painlessly as I can. Again, you may not wish to see this. I will, at your request, provide photographic evidence of any moles caught on your site.
The ?instant kill? traps are designed to ensure the immediate dispatch of the mole without pain or suffering (but bear in mind my comments above). I DO NOT use any form of gas, chemicals, or poisons of any sort, and at all times I follow the Code Of Practice of the Guild Of British Molecatchers.
